Red Hat Summer Camp Brno 2022

Red Hat Summer Camp Brno is a project for high school students to learn more about work culture at Red Hat, Open Source values, modern technologies and meet new people to create an application by the end of the project. Red Hat Summer Camp takes place from the 1st till the 12th of August 2022.
During the project students will:
• learn key aspects of modern application design and development;
• learn about the culture inside the company and how different people with common values work together and create magic;
• work in teams to create your own application and compete with other teams for cool rewards;
• improve your creativity and communication skills to a completely new level.
Sounds compelling, right?
Moreover, no matter if you are completely out of IT or technology fields – everyone is welcomed to join the camp. You will work in teams with people who have different skills and experience, and you will create a dream team to solve all challenges together.
Requirements
• Age 16 – 19 years old
• Communication in English (at least A2/B1 level) – all project will be in English
• Good mood 🙂
Covid-19 note
In case the pandemic situation would restrict us from organizing the event in the Red Hat Brno office, we are fully prepared to switch to Online format as required. In such a case, the participants would also need to use their own hardware (laptop/PC and microphone at minimum) and have a stable internet connection.

There’s a small mistake in the event’s local time.
Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 am should most likely be 10:00 am – 4:00 pm instead.
