Red Hat Summer Camp Brno 2023
Red Hat Summer Camp Brno is a project for high school students to learn more about work culture at Red Hat, Open Source values, modern technologies and meet new people to create an application by the end of the project. Red Hat Summer Camp is free of charge for the students and takes place from 31st of July till 11th of August 2023. We welcome students from anywhere, however, the Summer Camp will take place in-person in Brno.
During the project students will:
• learn key aspects of modern application design and development;
• learn about the culture inside the company and how different people with common values work together and create magic;
• work in teams to create your own application and compete with other teams for cool rewards;
• improve your creativity and communication skills to a completely new level.
Sounds compelling, right?
Moreover, no matter if you are completely out of IT or technology fields – everyone is welcomed to join the camp. You will work in teams with people who have different skills and experience, and you will create a dream team to solve all challenges together.
Not from Brno?
Living in Brno is NOT a prerequisite to attend the Camp. However, given the activities are daily since morning, it is recommended for attending students to either have adequate transport options or optionally secure a reasonable accommodation for the duration of the Camp.
• Age 16 – 19 years old
• Communication in English (at least A2/B1 level) – whole project will be in English
