Rui Vieira is a PhD graduate from the School of Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics at Newcastle University, UK. During his PhD, his research focused on statistical inference for long-running time series, particularly on Sequential Monte Carlo methods applied to Dynamic Generalized Linear Models. At Red Hat, he has worked with distributed computing applied to intelligent apps, and his current focus is on the integration between machine learning and business automation.
