Jonathan Halliday is a Java middleware engineer at the Red Hat Newcastle office. Previously a postgraduate student of computing science at Newcastle University, Jonathan continues to collaborate with their School of Computing, having over ten years supervising MSc research project internships and mentoring PhD students. Jonathan’s own work focuses on fault-tolerant, distributed and scalable data platforms for analytics and machine learning.
