Joao Phillipe Cardenuto earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Campinas (2019). Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the University of Campinas, Brazil. He has been working in the area of Computer Vision, Document Analysis, Machine Learning, Digital Forensics, and Scientific Integrity. Due to his research work, he received the Google Latin America Research Award 2021. His latest works include investigations of methods to detect misconduct in scientific articles, focused on detecting scientific images inappropriate manipulated.
