UMass Lowell
Red Hat provides graduate and undergraduate internships for student career development, participates in the professional cooperative education program, and supports a student exchange program between Lowell and Brno, CZ. Red Hat associates also teach at the university and mentor year-long senior projects. UMass faculty, students and Red Hat engineers collaborate on several open source research and development projects in computer science and engineering. Red Hat also offers co-op scholarships, supports PhD thesis work, and sponsors undergraduate student activities and programs such as SoarCS – a program for new students entering the computer science department, and the summer RAMP program for women students.
