Simon Sundberg

PhD student

Simon Sundberg is a PhD student in computer science at Karlstad University. He received his master’s in computer engineering at Karlstad University in 2019, and worked as a project assistant at the university on research projects with industrial collaborations until he started his PhD education in 2020. His research area is monitoring of edge services, and he is currently focusing on network latency. By using the emerging eBPF and XDP technologies, he sees huge opportunities for developing efficient and fine-grained network monitoring on Linux.
